NEWS 2010

Oh what a lovely year!
We had such fun in the sun, wind and rain.
You should have been there.
You were there?
Where were we?
Where was that?

Well, wherever we were, we loved it. All those lovely youngsters playing around with their music... in the fields... sitting in the mud... without a care in the world... reminded me of Margate.

So thank you all...
All the Grannies, the lovely lovely grannies... and the bitter twisted ones.
All the customers and fans, you know we love you, we know you love us... what was your name again?
And all the festivals... thank you for having us... your grandparents told us you’d come good in the end.

NEWS 2009

Hello Dears!
The Grannys are back! Bigger, Better and Older than ever! This year we have our very own big pink marquee that we will be having some right old good times in with ballroom dancing, La Grand Bingo, our very own Cinema and much, much more.
The Gaff will be bigger and pinker, the tea will be even more beige and the Grannies will be more insane, crazy and rude (but in a nice loving way) than ever before!
You'll be able to find us at:

16-19 July Glade
23-26 July Secret Garden Party
7-9 August Big Chill
21-23 August Green Man
27-30 August Shambala
4-6 September Electric Picnic

So we hope to see you all there with your dancing shoes all polished and shiny and your granny under your arm as this summer is on the way to be the best summer of your life (and that's a lot of summers in our case!)
Why not join our Facebook page dear! Just punch in Grannys Gaff or www.grannysgaff.com and we'll see you in church next Sunday, poppet.

After our winter hibernation at Swaying Palms Malibu Residential Home we're all fighting knit and ready for our summer of sun and fun. Hip replacements are lubed up ready, zimmer frames have been serviced and bikinis have been knitted.
Thank you all our friends, supporters and carers for a wonderful 1968, or was it 2008, it sure was a year to remember.
So please get in touch if we can do anything for you this year, if you think you can do anything for us, or maybe just for a natter. We love you all.

Who do you have to talk to to get a cuppa, eh? Turn the goggle box off please, someone, hate that Noel Edmonds, git! No don't write this down, idiot!

April 2008 - Well sorry everyone for the prolonged absence, can't make sense of these computer thingamajiggies.

Thank you to our friends over the winter, although we didn't get out much, due to the cold and rising bus prices, we would like to thank Fishseeksbicycle and Raindance for dragging us out the home.

We're all looking forward to the summer, weather permitting, I suppose we'll have to wrap up warm again.

Wrinkly Grandad has wobbled his way to Malawi now to help with some charitable good deeds!! Bookings are now available commencing Winter 2007.

Thanks to all Grannies, festival people and crumpets who made this season one to remember!

Did you see us at:

Grannys Gaff was also at Lovebox (Hackney), the Secret Garden Party (Huntingdon) and Innocent Village Park (Regents Park).

June 15th - Fish Seeks Bicycle Festival in Bournemouth. The big one. We are trialing Grannys Gaff here, see if you've got what it takes.

28th April is a date for your diary, as we rumble Bristol with our benefit night in Trinity Arts Centre, Bristol.  ‘Hemispheric’, a bouncy night of Breaks, Dub, World and Psytrance music. Bristol Ticket Shop are also selling the tickets commission free on cash sales, so go get your tickets in advance!

March 2007 - Grandad is back from his much undeserved break and as the new season stretches out before us we wonder, who's going to look after the cats? and will our hips survive because we're looking pretty busy. Now is the time for you big wigs to book us (we know all about big wigs, big hats and big pants).

January 2007 - Grandad is off on his holidays soon, taking in Eastbourne, the English Riviera, Skegness and other top retirement homes in a search for wrinkly company and excessive medication. Granny Sassy will be in charge during Grandad's absence, see you all in March.

New Years Eve 2006 - gay bouncers etc

Friday 22nd December 2006 - Reggae Hogroast @ Maker Festival Site, Rame Head, Cornwall provided by those wonderful Hemp Space People.
